Jag Klair

I have lived in Northfleet since I was born and attended a local nursery and primary school.  When I finished my secondary school education in 1994, I secured a cashier’s position at the Woolwich Bank in Gravesend High Street.  Fast forward 26 years and I now work at the Barclays Head Office in Canary Wharf managing the platform used by Corporate Clients to manage their day to day transactions.  My first involvement with the Food Bank was in July 2016 and this is where I met Deborah and I guess as they say, the rest is history.  Since becoming a regular, I have been in attendance at the Christmas parties and the Make Lunch events held during the school holidays.

I finished my degree last year, which Barclays supported me with and am looking forward to using the new skills learned in both my work life, and in my new role as Treasurer for Northfleet Central.  Northfleet Central has a great team of trustees who are ready to support the local community, be the best they can by providing opportunities to them to grow individually and, as a community.
