Neege Allen

Co-opted Trustee

About Neege Allen

I was co-opted to the board in September 2023, to bring my experience as an architect and local campaigner.

As founder of Gravesend Futures, as well as raising awareness on social media, I have led engagement with Ebbsfleet Development Corporation, Gravesham Borough Council, and developers, on the larger regeneration proposals coming through in the area, since 2017. This often takes the form of input during pre-planning consultations, alternative proposals aimed at retention and re-use of heritage assets, and creative or best practice ideas to improve leisure, tourism and employment opportunities. My input, together with the Sulman 150 campaigning group was fundamental in winning the Planning Appeal to save the ex-Gurdwara building on Clarence Place from demolition.

I am a long-standing Director and LLP member of tp bennett, one of the largest architecture and design partnerships in London. Most of my projects are international, but I count himself a Gravesham ‘local’ since 2007, when I returned from living in Italy.

I am also a Trustee of Gravesham Sanctuary, and an active member of St. George’s Church.
